This is a great cup to have. My son loves this cup so that he can drink water from it like we do. I will say with the lid on it tight it doesn't leak much. But if he drops it on the ground, the lid does come loose a little bit and can leak a little more.

Small and light enough for my 8 month old to hold and sip out of. The straw is perfect, too! It helps him right now that he's teething. 2 downsides: (1) if baby drops it (as pictured) it can pop open (2) if you fill too much, liquid comes up through the straw. You learn how much you can fill it- no big deal! I purchased the yellow for my little boy and the pink for my 2 year old- she loves the cup, too!

My daughter purchased one of these for her daughter and she loves them. I bought a couple more for extras. These are very easy for my 1yr old grand daughter to hold. They have a nice soft feel. They are also easy to clean. These are the only cups she will use. Water does leak out the straw if the cup is tipped over. The only real negative is-the lid does pop off pretty easy if the straw is pulled hard enough.

This product is a MUST BUY, for ne parent with kids from age 1 to 8 who are messy or tend to spill a lot! This guy is simply amazing, it seals shut with its thick lid thay friction seals to the cup. In addition, your kid can tip this over, upside down and even lightly shake it and it won’t spill. It takes concerted effort or intent to open the cup for it to spill. I am very impressed with what I have here. The only complaint I have, which is far from a complaint and more of a: “yer and idiot and should have thought of that” is when you seal the lid, pull the straw all the way up. This prevents the straw from sitting in the liquid, and the liquid squirting out the straw as you seal the lid by pressing it down on the cup. I am so impressed and very happy to have this item! Such a great product!!

Love the cup. We've had it for a couple years now and it just comes with the cup, lid and straw, all easy to clean and take apart. My kid still uses it.

It is silicone, see-trough cup. So I like it. But sometimes lead opens so easy.

Great first cup for my LO. She’s learning to use the straw and I love that the quality is great and very easy to clean. I can also put small snack in the cup. Material is very soft and holds a good amount of water in there.

I think it's cute to see my little squishy hold a cup with a straw but it is easy to spill if the cup is squeezed. I still recommend the product but only if your baby is an expert at holding and using cups. It's also super easy to clean. My baby girl (11 months) likes to squeeze it which pops the lid off, and the material of the cup is more of a fun toy to chew on. She can use the straw but to her it's just another teether.

I bought this cup for my 9 month old and she immediately took to it. At first she did just bite the straw because I hadn’t really taken the time to teach her on how to use a straw but she caught on and then it became easy for her to use the cup. We just use it for water for the time being and it does withstand being cleaned in the electric steamer we have for her bottles. So it is dishwasher and microwave safe as it states. The straw doesn’t pop out so kids can tug on it and it won’t come undone. There is a little leakage from the top of the cup but nothing major and it doesn’t go leaving places wet like when you have a baby bottle on a bed that’s filled with liquid and tipped over. Just be careful when filling it as you close it because the liquid will spout up the straw due to the pressure. I love the color and that my baby does like drinking from it. I would recommend buying one especially for parents who don’t want to have their kids on sippy cups that don’t aid their teeth development.

Perfect size for my toddler’s small hands! He loves the straw and it makes him drink more water! If you tip it over, it will spill, but the lid goes on pretty tight where it stays nicely

This cup does sometimes leak in it. Also, if you fill it too high, some will leak out the sides, but just wipe it off and keep on going.

Nice starter cup. Top comes off easily which is good or bad depends on situation. Straw can go all the way into the cup because it is soft and flexible. My granddaughter pushes it in and laugh and laughs. mom and dad so so thrilled about that. does teach straw use

I’ve been looking for a mold proof baby cup. Most sippy cups have valves and small nooks where you just can’t clean/dry and mold can accumulate. This cup this is easily hand washed and being silicone is dishwasher safe. The cup is thick and sturdy. Some people have complained about liquid coming out when you close the lid. You can avoid that by filling 2/3 only. Pull the straw up, close the lid then push the straw back down. The seal is tight and liquid does not come out. The only drawback is that now my baby keeps pulling the straw up so can’t suck the liquid. But I don’t see a workaround to this because of the pressure. I’m not being paid for this. Just wanted to leave a review as I was so happy I found a sippy cup to meet my needs. I was using the take and toss plastic cups with my other child. But I prefer not to put plastic in the dishwasher and the plastic straws would become deformed with biting.

This cup worked perfectly for when my toddler was learning how to use a straw but once he figured out the lid comes off it was not so great and ultimately ended in a mess at every meal . The black one does also show residue from hard water/ dishwashing I do recommend a different color.

Cute for little hands! My 6 month old is transitioning from a bottle with this cup and can hold it well as she learns to manipulate the straw. If the straw is not pulled up through the top of the lid and falls below the liquid level when securing the lid, the liquid will spray up through the top of the straw. Very easy to clean, however a small brush for the straw would be a nice addition especially for the price. I had to wash it a few times before first use as it had a bit of an oder to it. Nice alternative to plastic.

This is great for my one year old grandson. We give him two with each meal; one with water and one with milk. He loves that he can grab it, drink from it, and put it back down, all by himself.

I really like this cup, but unfortunately it just doesn’t work with my child as he removed the lid quickly and poured water in the floor. Gave it several tries and every time the 1st thing he does with this particular cup is remove the lid.

My baby loves this cup! She learned to drink from straw on this cup. It doesn’t spill if dropped. It’s easy to clean, I’m washing it in dishwasher regularly. The little thing on the straw prevents it from slipping out. I would highly recommend!

I love these cups! They’re so easy to clean, and perfect size for our little one (9months)! She can whip around the cup with a decent amount of force and the lid stays on. The only time it pops off and liquid spills is when she throws it from the high chair with some serious force. We now have three of these because they’re the best straw cups we’ve found and liked. Highly recommend. Also, the gray cup is the 8oz!

This is the only cup my baby will drink out of. I don’t know what we’d do without it! Somehow the lid doesn’t pop off when he throws it on the ground and it’s magical. We did get one that seemed defective (lid popped off very easily) but we were able to exchange for a new one. (The lid does need to be re-secured after each time it’s dropped though.) Pro tip: to prevent the liquid squirting out when you put the top on, pull the straw up so it’s not in contact with liquid, push top down, then lower straw into liquid. Easy and no mess!

My 19 month old son looooves this cup. I had to wait until about a month ago to give it to him though bc he found it way too much fun to pull the lid off when he was younger. It’s super easy for him to hold, and it’s 100% become his fav cup to drink out of. It works great with smoothies and yogurt drinks especially. Only gripe is that you have to put the lid on kinda slow or the liquid will pop out the top of the straw (even when not all the way full). Would def buy again, wish there was a larger version!

We love these cups and have 2 now. The seal is so good though that you have to close the lid slowly, and I'd recommend pulling the straw up as high as it can go when putting the lid on a full cup. When cool liquid warms up, this cup seems to weep less than say a munchkin miracle 360. Tipped over we've had no spills, but I have pressed the lid down after to ensure it's still snug. Would recommend giving one a try for your little ones.

It's great, but the top can be removed by a determined baby, and if dropped theres about a 15% chance it will disassemble and the top will pop off. No biggie, I knew this when I went for a silicone cup/straw with a pressure fit lid. It does what I wanted, which is be a straw cup that the baby can't stab himself with the straw on while he's learning.

My daughter loved her cup but enjoyed sticking the straw down in it more. Really cute and easy for her to tote and use. Liquid comes out of straw if it has something in it and the straw is down in the liquid when putting the lid on. I feel it’s pricey for this cup and won’t buy another. You’re welcome. 😂

Absolutely love this. Didn’t have much success with the weighted straw cups I tried and this is the perfect size for my 14 month old. She loves it! It’s cute and surprisingly sturdy. She’s knocked it down a bunch and the top stays on it. If you fill it up too high some water leaks from the straw when you push down but it isn’t a deal breaker. She sometimes grabs the cup by the straw so it would be nice if there was a way the straw couldn’t be pulled out that high. Still excellent!

I love the look and use of this cup for my 16M old, but sometimes it has this plastic smell. I’m not sure where it’s from but it’s that cheap plastic smell. I almost returned it but my baby loves this cup so much....really don’t want her to be drinking from a cup that smells like that :(

If you want a leak-proof tank of a product that won’t spill a drop in the hands of even the most destructive toddler, look elsewhere. If you want something to easy to clean, easy to use, that won’t get moldy or break... this is perfect. Nice size, well constructed, strong lid (stays on even when my kid is holding it by the straw but does loosen), sturdy. Love that I can use without the lid for open cup practice. Instantly our go-to cup.

Love the cup! The color, the silicone, everything. But after the first use my son learned to take the lid off. He tips it over all directions and no leaks. Probably only going to continue to offer this cup while he's in his high chair.

These are great cups. We have a few in different colors and I find they’re pretty leak proof even on the go. My toddler is very independent and these helped her practice drinking from a cup when she showed signs of being ready (she always wants to drink out of our glasses). Bonus for nice aesthetics - I can’t stand cutesy kid things. These are nice to look at and very functional. Win win!

This cup is just so wonderful I can’t put it into words. I bought it for my 12m and she became an expert within hours (she didn’t have much experience with a straw before this cup). So easy to clean and it’s definitely leak proof. She just loves it! Will probably buy it in every color lol.

This cup is so cute. I originally purchased it to help my one year old learn to drink from a small cup (I would just take the lid and straw off) but I haven’t done that yet! The lid and the straw both stay on/in the cup. The straw doesn’t come out and the lid can withstand my one year old chucking the cup to the ground and it still stays on hah!

My 4 year old is a little old for this cup, but it’s new on the market so I had to try it. We loved the other products for baby bowl and plates. It’s actually perfect fit for her hands! I bought her 3 different colors and I can trust her to walk around with it.

    Materials, Safety & Care

Our dishware is crafted from bamboo and stainless steel, which aren’t suitable for use in any type of oven—whether it’s a conventional oven, toaster oven, or microwave.

While silicone can technically be used in the microwave, we don’t recommend it due to the potential effects microwaving can have on baby food, as for the silicone dishes yes, they are microwaveable though.

    Caring for Bamboo Dishware:

    Remove any leftover food.

Wash with warm water, mild soap, and a soft sponge or brush. Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools.

    Rinse thoroughly.

    Dry with a soft cloth.

    Let the dish air-dry completely.

To keep your bamboo dishes in great shape, apply a light coat of food-grade oil (like mineral oil, coconut oil, or beeswax) periodically.

    Stainless Steel and Silicone Care:

Both materials are dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.

For a deep clean of suction dishes, remove the silicone ring and wash each piece separately following the bamboo care steps above.

To help prevent deterioration, periodically treat your bamboo dishes with a light coating of oil, such as food-grade mineral oil, coconut oil or beeswax.

If you want to avoid petroleum products, any shelf-stable, food-grade oil will work. It's best to avoid nut oils, which can easily go rancid.

1.Use a soft cloth to apply a light coat of oil to the item.

2.Allow the oil to soak in for at least 1 hour or overnight.

3.Wipe off the excess with a clean, dry cloth.

Bamboo dishes should be hand-washed right after use.

Avoid soaking bamboo in water for extended periods or putting it in a dishwasher or other cleaning machines. Excessive heat and water can cause the bamboo to swell or crack.

On the other hand, both stainless steel and silicone are safe to clean in the dishwasher.

We use 18/10 stainless steel, also known as SAE 304 or A2 stainless in some countries.

This high-quality stainless steel is nontoxic, hypoallergenic, and highly resistant to corrosion. It’s durable, feels sturdy, and maintains its sleek appearance over time.

Absolutely! We use sustainable, organic bamboo that is 100% biodegradable and nontoxic. Each piece is finished with an FDA-approved, food-grade varnish to reduce porosity and increase durability.

Our stainless steel is fully recyclable.

Silicone is also recyclable, though finding a facility that accepts it can be more challenging. However, its long-lasting nature makes silicone a much more eco-friendly option compared to plastic.

Yes! All Avanchy products are completely free from BPA, BPS, PVC, plastic, lead, and phthalates.

Our baby dishware is made exclusively from nontoxic, hypoallergenic materials like bamboo, stainless steel, and silicone.

While silicone is a synthetic material, it’s significantly less likely to leach chemicals into food compared to plastic, making it a safer choice.

We have rigid contracts with multiple organic-certified factories in China where over 80% of the world's bamboo comes from.

We’re proud to have passed some of the most rigorous safety tests worldwide, including FDA, Prop 65, and CPSIA standards.

If you’d like to review the test results, they’re available upon request.

Our process is truly fascinating! It begins with naturally drying our organic bamboo, which is then compressed into blocks using a giant oven. These compressed blocks are cut into smaller pieces and carefully hand-carved against a mold. Fun fact: all the leftover bamboo residue is reused to fuel the ovens!

Once molded, the bamboo undergoes a meticulous manual polishing stage, followed by an application of bamboo sealant and an FDA-approved food-grade varnish. This coating protects the bamboo, ensuring it doesn’t absorb water or stain. Finally, the bamboo takes a well-deserved rest in a climate-controlled room to naturally set.

Overall, it’s a soothing and sustainable journey for our bamboo—don’t you think? 😊

We source our bamboo from China, so it only makes sense to craft our products there too. Every design, however, is lovingly created by our team right here at our headquarters in Dallas, TX, USA! 😊

Food-grade silicone is a safe and reliable choice! Unlike plastic, it doesn’t leach any toxic chemicals, giving you peace of mind when it comes to your little one’s safety.

Silicone is also much softer than most plastics, making it ideal for baby utensils. It’s gentle on tender mouths and eliminates the risk of cuts that plastic might cause.

On top of that, silicone’s durability means you’ll replace it far less often than plastic. This not only saves you money but also helps reduce waste, keeping more items out of landfills—a win for your family and the planet! 🌍✨

We use a proprietary PU blend varnish that’s FDA-approved and food-grade, ensuring your baby’s safety is always our top priority. This finish has passed rigorous health and safety tests worldwide, giving you peace of mind every step of the way.

We’re proud to offer you the highest quality organic bamboo with absolutely no fillers. When you choose an Avanchy dish, you’re getting 100% pure bamboo—nothing less! 🌿

Absolutely! Our dishware is completely free from BPA, BPS, melamine, lead, and phthalates. Plus, every piece meets rigorous safety standards, including FDA approval, SGS certification, Japanese Sanitation approval, and Korean Standards approval. You can trust it’s safe for your little one! 🌟

Black spots on bamboo dishes can appear if they’re not dried properly after washing. Don’t worry—they can be easily removed! Simply apply a small amount of food-grade mineral oil to a soft cloth and gently rub the spots until they fade. This also helps condition the bamboo and prevent future buildup. To keep your dishes in top shape, always dry them immediately after washing and apply mineral oil regularly to maintain their durability.

    Best Practices & Tips

Although we label our products as "infant," "baby," or "toddler," we understand that every child is unique. The dishes and utensils you choose should depend on your little one’s individual appetite and developmental stage.

To find the perfect items for your needs, please explore our product descriptions. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out—we're always happy to help you make the best choice! 😊

To ensure the best suction for your dish, start by placing it on a clean, smooth surface. Any dirt, crumbs, or particles can let air in, which may reduce the suction's effectiveness.

For added convenience, always position the dish so that the easy-release tab on the silicone ring faces you instead of your baby. This makes it easier for you to remove while keeping it secure during mealtime!

To activate the airtight lock mechanism, press your dish firmly onto a clean, dry, flat surface until you hear all the air release. This ensures a strong suction hold.

Keep in mind that the silicone ring won’t stick to surfaces that are wet, oily, sticky, or dirty. If you’re experiencing issues, simply clean and dry the surface before trying again. Problem solved! 😊

Simply pull the easy-release tab. The suction piece pops off like magic!

To make your new bowl more versatile, remove the silicone ring from the bottom by gently pulling it away from the bowl. The ring can be re-placed at any time.

Yes, the rings can be interchanged on same-size products. For example, the ring on the Bamboo Suction Toddler Plate can also be used on the Stainless Steel Suction Toddler Plate.

Avanchy sectioned plates are thoughtfully designed to help you serve balanced meals for your little one. Here's how the sections work:

    - **Large Section:** Perfect for seasonal and green vegetables.

    - **Medium Section:** Ideal for animal and plant proteins such as meat, poultry, fish, eggs, beans, nuts, and seeds.

    - **Small Section:** Great for carbohydrates like grains, bread, potatoes, and other starchy vegetables.

These guidelines can benefit healthy children—and even adults! However, always follow the dietary recommendations provided by your child’s pediatrician, especially if your child has specific health needs.

Yes, suction rings are designed to fit both bamboo and stainless steel dishes. Bowl rings can be used on any bowl, and plate rings can be used on any plate. However, bowl rings and plate rings are not interchangeable—they only work on their respective dish types.
