    Avanchy Bamboo Suction Baby Bowl
There are few tips how to clean up your bamboo or wooden baby's dishware :
    1. Wash your hands first
First of all, make sure your hands are clean before cleaning your little one utensils. Wash your hands with running water and a special hand washing soap that contains an antiseptic. This method is very important to do to prevent the transfer of germs and bacteria from the mother's hands to the baby's eating utensils. Also make sure that you wash your hands between your fingers and nails until they are completely clean.

    2. Do not Soak

Anything made from wood should be washed immediately and not soaked in water. Because, this wood material is porous and can absorb water. Wood that contains water will easily mold. However, if the rice paddle is made of wood with a lot of rice crust on it, it's okay to soak it in water. As long as it's not too long.

    3. Use a brush

The best method for cleaning wooden cookware is to brush them. You can use laundry soap mixed with hot water so that the dirt can be removed perfectly. For small wooden cooking utensils, you don't need to use a large brush, just use a small brush like a toothbrush. However, if the wooden cooking utensil is large,  you can use a washing brush to make it easier to clean.

    4. Dry Before Storing

If other cooking utensils are usually drained or simply "aerated", then this wooden dishware must be dried before storing. The wooden cooking utensil can be moldy and change color if left damp and stored in a low light. Use a dry cloth to wipe this wooden cookware.

    5. Natural Ingredients as Cleaning Substances

Apart from dishwashing soap, wooden cooking utensils are also suitable for cleaning using materials that are the same as wood, which is natural. Here are natural ingredients that you can use to clean wooden cooking utensils.
    • Baking Soda
To get rid of musty smell in wooden cookware, use baking soda mixed with soapy water in a ratio of 1: 2. Scrub the wooden cookware with this mixture and rinse thoroughly. The musty smell is guaranteed to disappear.
    • Hot water
Wooden cooking utensils have pores that can absorb ingredients or food leftovers, so if not cleaned properly it can actually be a source of disease contamination. After using it, you can wash this wooden cooking utensil with hot water. In this way, you can clean and kill germs that may be in the pores of the wooden cookware.
    • Lemon
Besides being good for health, lemon can also be used to clean wooden cooking utensils. You can soak it for 10-15 minutes in a mixture of lemon juice and hot water, then wash it off as usual.
    • Vinegar
Apart from eliminating bacteria, vinegar can also be used as a odor neutralizer in wooden cooking utensils. You can spray or pour vinegar on a wooden cookware, then scrub it clean.
    • Olive oil
This material is not used to clean, but to coat the surface of wooden cooking utensils. After washing, you can use olive oil or mineral oil to treat and make wooden cooking utensils durable. Just grease the appliance with oil once a month, no need to finish using it. After applying oil, wipe dry the wooden cooking utensil, then wait until it is completely dry then use it again. In this way, wooden cookware can last longer because the oil has coated the pores, so that no water or bacteria can enter.

Moms, these methods not only apply to clean baby dishware but can also be applied when cleaning other things made out of Bamboo and wood Isn't it great to try?
